My Wife Became Angry when I Broke the Mirror

They say that when you break a mirror, you get seven years of bad luck, but I don’t believe in superstitions like that. I’ve broken plenty of mirrors in my life, and I don’t think I’ve ever had any bad luck because of it. I broke the mirror in my bathroom, and there was definitely no change in luck. However, my wife did get really mad at me. I had to get a new mirror to fit in place of the old one by hiring a company that offers custom mirror services in NJ.

To me, the mirror was just a normal mirror that anyone could use to look at themselves and handle their grooming needs. My wife didn’t see it that way. Not Alone on My Birthday

Trying Something Different Every Once in a While

I love playing FPS games, but sometimes I get tired of them. Going onto the same maps with the same weapons all the time, shooting the same people every day, getting yelled at by the same kids when I win, and then having to pay for more content just gets so old. I like to break away from the FPS genre sometimes and play something else that will give me a rush. That’s why I turn to online poker on the betting web sites. At least there I can play and not have to deal with the same annoying people that keep screaming into the microphones.

There’s something about the random nature of the cards being dealt that also makes playing poker online such a joy. It takes away the predictability of the games that I’ve been playing and gives me a new set of cards to deal with each time. Sometimes I may get a good hand, and other times I may get a bad one. In each case, I have to make the best of what I’ve been given and try to pull out a win. Although I’m not always successful, it’s still fun to try my hand at beating my opponents.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of betting on online poker. That doesn’t mean that I’ll stop playing FPS games entirely and only play poker. I still like to pick up the FPS games, it’s just that when things get to be a little of the same, I’ll take a break from them and have a little fun elsewhere. Working my way through the business world has not been a crystal staircase for me. I had scrape and claw to get where I am today. I had to work twice as hard just to get half as far. I’m Living on My Own

* Stay sober – Businessmen have lost reputations and careers because drunken behavior. Although none of the things said or done while drunk were meant, it is a clear sign of disrespect towards either the host or guests. Don’t embarrass yourself or your business. Know your limits and control your pace.

* Be genuinely interested – Always make eye contact in a conversation and make sure to pay attention to every detail the guest says. Take the time to ask questions as this shows that you were listening and interested.

* Double check emails – Simple mistakes can be made to derail a meeting or blow a deal. You may have date and time wrong for a meeting, left out some paperwork to be signed, or worse, your emails were sent to the wrong person and may potentially endanger the company.
